Won't refund for a faulty product

Paid $278 for a ninja blender set. One of the parts was faulty, requested replacement or refund, given the back and forth for 2 weeks before they finally asked me to contact the supplier directly. Supplier sorted out a replacement part in 2 days but it was still not working. Now I'm requesting a refund as the supplier said I would have to do that through MyDeal. When I request the refund, MyDeal then say they need to get a return label from the supplier. Obviously just dragging it on.. I will lodge a complaint through my credit card company. Never buying from them again. Don't they realise how stupid it is to do business like this.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. It took a really long time but MyDeal finally gave me the refund rather than the seller as they were ignoring all communication. They have still done nothing to remove the seller so they are free to defraud someone else.

MyDeal allows scammers to steal peoples money and allows them to continue trading on their website. I purchased a foot bath from a2z deals on 5th February, it stated on the website that it would take 3 to 7 days to ship. After 2 weeks it still said pending dispatch for this item so I sent them a message. The message was direct to the seller. It took them a day to get back to me but they said they would chase it up right away and get back to me. However after 4 days I still had heard nothing so I wrote a message asking them to please just give me a refund as it was taking too long. They completely ignored this and 2 days later set up a tracking number with Australia Post. However after a week this tracking number was still sitting at pending as they had not produced a product to send. It is difficult to send a message to MyDeal as a whole rather than just direct to the seller. When I did manage to get to them, they were dismissive and ignored my emails. So I had to phone them in order to actually get any help, where they finally escalated the issue. I then had to wait again as they contacted the seller to give me a refund. I had to wait another 3 days until they had still heard nothing from the seller and finally gave me a refund. Despite the fact that this seller had clearly just taken the money and sent nothing, and was ignoring pleas for a refund, MyDeal has done absolutely nothing to take them off their website. Their words were We will undoubtedly provide feedback to the seller regarding the limitations of their after-sales support! What after-sales support??!! All they did was steal my money, there was nothing else. When the refund was finally processed by them (as the seller had not done it themselves), they had the audacity to suggest that I purchase the product elsewhere on MyDeals website! They have to be joking if they think I will ever trust their website again.

Item purchased but not sent to home address as specified

No stranger to online shopping I was careful and meticulous when placing the order. A pair of $49 mens crocs. Sounds fairly straight forward right? Specified and confirmed delivery address (my home) and paid online To my dismay and disappointment, the item was delivered to the Post Office in my local suburb. This is not what I entered into the delivery field of the order. I entered my home address for delivery. And no, it wasn't an example of the driver couldn't get a signature or couldn't find the address or even that he couldn't be bothered, the item went straight to the local post office. This particular post office is not open Saturday or Sunday. I work 8am to 6pm Mon to Fri. I am not able to go get them unless I take time off work. No email from the post office either, as to what to bring with me for ID and what I will need to pick up the item, rather just a notification from My Deal to advise my item was 'ready for pick up.' Got onto customer service and just got a well rehearsed script for a reply. In short, 'too bad'. Replied back requesting full refund but then got nothing. After reading other customer complaints about My Deal, there's a common thread. They basically don't care and will just wait it out till you give up. They have your money now, what do they care? Be warned. Slick web pages and products look good. Just hope you actually get them because if you don't, good luck chasing them Will never shop with this bunch of amateurs ever ever again.

I purchased a hot plate and within 6 months it broke down. It took MyDeal and the seller weeks to respond and act, asking for video and pictured evidence, asked me to cut the cord before offering a refund. After refund was "processed", did not confirm what card it was processed into. Said it would take 1-3 business days. It's been 6 business days. I emailed to check, they didn't answer my question. I tried to log into my Mydeal account and it looks like it's been deactivated. That is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional behaviour. Still haven't had my refund reach my bank account after opening the complaint 4 weeks ago for a $50 item. Ridiculous.

do not shop from this website, i got scammed buying an item and it suppose to delivery within MAX 6 days and now im waiting 15days without anything. i have been calling mydeal people all they do is send an email to the seller to request a refund but the seller is not replying. the seller must reply with 2 business days but i am not getting any reply. so basically mydeal customers asked me they cant give me money because i am going through the seller and i have to contact them. my money is gone. i have bough an expensive hollywood vanity of $899 AUD dollars. i have requested for supervisor but they keep saying to schedule a time but no one calls me back. this website is a BIG SCAM. AVOID IT BY ALL MEANS

Order not received. Product purchased at cheaper rate than resellers own website. I initiated a dispute with the courier that was used by the reseller on Mydeal, Sendle, that claim to have been left at my door (not signed delivery). I was home all day for the delivery and never received the item. After attempting to resolve the issue online with the reseller through MyDeal after 9 days (and at time of this review attempted to contact the reseller directly via their own website). As of now, I have initiated a PayPal Dispute.

I you buy something from their sight beware, as they are only a market place.If you have a warranty issue you need to work it out yourself with the re-seller, often not in your favour and a lengthy process (im at 4 months trying to get a refund) MyDeal has been involved but not really doing anything or stepping in.

This company facilitated the transaction on behalf of the seller, but when I didn't receive the ordered goods or a refund, the company conveniently claimed it was beyond their control. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I was left with neither the product nor a refund. It's disheartening that 'My Deal' allowed a situation where my money was essentially stolen by Advwin. Shame on 'My Deal' for permitting such practices. Beware and think twice before trusting third-party intermediaries with your online transactions.

Purchased a home office chair for my 9am-5pm home office needs. Chair came advertised as - High Back PU Leather Executive Ergonomic Office Chair Padded, Soft Bonded PU Leather in Black Designed for ergonomic all-day comfort, this executive office chair is upholstered in quality PUV Chair arrived and after assembly found it leant back too far so you look over your monitors in a comfortable sitting position unless sitting forward and provides no back support in a normal sitting position. Advised the support team it is faulty and did not provide any lumber support and was told after sending photos and videos clearly showing how ineffective it was at my desk while typingI need to lose weightI should not assemble the product before asking for a refund if its not as described in the advertisementI need to look at the picture which show the back support angle and not read the detailed description of what the chair says it does for back supportI need to go out and purchase a additional lumber support for a chair that is advertised as providing lumber support Obviously not happy and $100 spent on about to be land fill waste. Oh, and offered $15 discount refund which never got refunded.

I was emailed from escalations saying they won't refund me unless they have the bike returned. I have said I am unable to return as its too large for my car as they haven't organised a courier.

They won't organise a courier to collect so therefore won't offer me my refund.

This has just happened. So back to square one still.

Purchased a bike on their online site. Delivered to me in a large box the size of a single bed. Put bike together and it has many stability faults, missing parts and sharp edging where it should not be. I have emailed and sent images as requested to the sites 3rd party seller, Masses International, who make and sell the bikes using MyDeal as their site. My deal group told me I have to deal with the manufacture they didn't sell it to me, when it came from Mydeal ... confusing and illegal. I was told they would return it and I would he refunded once they had the bike back up to 10 working days or more. I said no, I can't take the box in my car. It's far too big, so it can't happen like that. They won't refund me unless they receive the bike back and won't help me get it picked up by a courier either. This is also illegal to say. Their site says a refund is guaranteed on faulty items etc but they are lying to everyone. All I want is to send it back, but I want my refund before hand as I don't trust couriers delivering it or this company. But I can't get it to a post office so they won't help me anyway. This company is lying to their customers about refunds on their contracts and purchases. I am getting no help and being told illegal things. I have escalated to ACCC and A Current Affair. I am also contacting ATO and the fraud hotline has also advised this company has lied to consumers about refunds.

They sent me 2 wrong items - one was such bad quality and the other was completely the wrong item. They sat in my kitchen for months while I tried to return them. I sent numerous emails that went no where. I called multiple times to try and get them to pick up the items that sat in my kitchen for months. They literally refused to pick up the items. They are a scam company. They don't hold stock it comes from other companies so just buy direct from the company that sells it to avoid what happened to me! They blocked me from posting on their socials and they just block everyone who tries to write bad review. If you want poor quality products or wrong items then by all means buy from mydeal. I was forced to list the items on marketplace to recover my costs. I urge you not to buy from this company.
